Welcome to our world!

First and foremost...Merry Christmas

**Please note before you dive in, there are roughly 1,000 spelling errors but that is what makes it ~unique~**

The Basics:
Nick is working full time for North Memorial out of Alexandria! It is true that your work environment speaks volumes…he is always ready to go to work because he truly enjoys his job, the people he works with and the upper management  team — or it could be to get away from me. He volunteers for the Sauk Centre Ambulance service and has been instrumental in their transition to providing ALS care in November of 2023! In his free time, he enjoys cooking, shooting, driving, camping and spending time with ME (because who wouldn’t)

I am working at Dan Welle Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram with my Father, Mother and Sister! My sister and I recently graduated N.A.D.A. Academy in Tysons, VA where we learned all aspects of the automotive industry to better serve our store! In my free time, I enjoy being creative, cycling, working out, and lounging with Nick, Izzy and Mirabel!

Izzy - 7 - Recently got some teeth pulled and a spot removed from her lower back. She loves the outdoors but also loves the indoors. She enjoys endless scratches and watching TV. She lives for McDonalds Chicken Nuggets and will never forget the spot she last saw the Gopher in the backyard! Deep down she loves being a big sister but will never admit it. She keeps herself grounded and stops Mirabel before things get too out of hand.

Mirabel - 2 - Loves every aspect of life. She may have diabetes but the vet said she is only 1lb overweight. She would spend the rest of her life outside if she could and I’m pretty sure she would let anyone or anything into our home. She has brought in a dead bat, dead bugs, and attempted to bring in a dead mole just last month.

Enjoy our year in review!

January was a nice reset from the busy December 2023 we had. I had started N.A.D.A. Dealer Academy in Tysons, VA and Nick had been busy working! We rung in the 2024 New Year together with a nice dinner and time together. Mid-January I celebrated my 29th Birthday and then we headed South to Florida with Nick’s Family! We spent a week in West Palm Beach relaxing and adventuring! We went on a weekend Margartiaville Cruise where the drinks were flowing and the laughs were non-stop! We had a great time!

February was fairly mild for our schedules and weather-wise so we got in some nice outdoor walks with Izzy and Mirabel! I had Week 2 of N.A.D.A. Academy so it was back to Tysons, VA! Nick joined and he got to explore a bit of Washington D.C. and had a nice getaway from work! We returned home and back to work it was for both of us!

We mini-golfed in the Sauk Centre Fire Department Tournament with friends and enjoyed many laughs! We closed out the month with a Celebrity cruise visiting Puerto Plata, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, St Kitts and St. Thomas! We were joined by my sister and her now husband! They got engaged on the trip, which was so fun to be apart of!

May kicked off camping season, but first I attended a bachelorette party in Stillwater while Nick went to Vegas with his mom, aunt and cousin! They had a great time and Nick got to witness his mom win a slot machine tournament! We removed some river rock in our back yard with Nick’s brother and future sister-in-law (thanks for the help y’all), we tried to make it as fun as possible! We made way for some upgrades in the backyard that came later in summer. We kicked off our 2024 Camping Season at Hobo Park with our friends and family! It was so nice to get parked and into what would be our second home for a few months!

June put me back in Tysons, VA for Week 4 of N.A.D.A. Academy. This time around Nick came with and when I wasn’t in class we got to do some exploring of the monuments. My sister Chris also attended all sessions of the Academy so it was nice to spend that time with her as well! We were back in MN in no time to continue camping weekends, work and attended a friend’s wedding in the Brainerd-Lakes Area!

We had a friend’s wedding back in Springfield, MN then my sister Jordan’s Bachelorette Party! We celebrated Sauk Centre’s Sinclair Lewis Days then embarked on an adventure to the DADDY OF THEM ALL, 2024 Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, WY! It was an amazing trip pulling our travel trailer, sight seeing and attending MY FIRST RODEO!!! We went to Fort Collins, CO and went to the Fat Tire Brewery and hiked around the area! We ended the trip with a Lainey Wilson concert then headed back to MN!

A week later, Nick, his brother, brother’s fiancé and I took their Grandma to Duluth for a weekend getaway! We enjoyed the North Shore, Shopping and just taking in the crisp air! Later that month Nick and I celebrated our ONE YEAR wedding anniversary in Deadwood, SD with our first of many Jeep Jamborees! Time flies when you’re having fun! October closed out my N.A.D.A. Academy schooling in Tysons’ VA! My family flew out and so did Nick’s family! It was awesome to have them all there in support of the previous year’s schooling! We learned a lot and met some really great people along the way! I am forever grateful for my opportunity and for Class N440! We retuned home and then I went to my favorite place on earth with my mom, niece and sisters! You guessed it…Walt Disney World! It was a quick weekend trip but it was AMAZING!
